The Magdala Motor Lodge, four kilometres from the centre of Stawell, and set well back from the Western Highway, provides a rural haven complete with native wildlife and majestic River Red Gums in and around the man made lake.

The Magdala on the Lake restaurant, which serves gourmet a la carte meals and boasts an extensive collection of local wines, has sweeping views of the lake and gardens, which are floodlit at night. The restaurant is a non-smoking venue.

The Magdala is proud of its reputation for welcoming groups, and we have been delighted to have many of our group guests return either on another group tour or privately. The furnishing of our units provides either double or twin share, with all units being ground floor. Our unit fitted for disable guests is close to the restaurant making it easy access for meals.

Buffet breakfasts, including hot and cold dishes, and three course [two choice] evening meals are served in the restaurant. Dinner menus are changed each day and special dietary requirements can be catered for if prior notice is given. Picnic lunches of sandwiches, cake and fruit juice, individually wrapped are also available if requested at the time of booking.
The availability of the indoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, golf course, canoe and walking track on the property allow for exercise without the worry of traffic. The level terrain is ideal for senior travellers.
